Call For Board Members

The Institute for the Study of Spirit (ISS) is a national, Indigenous and women-led registered charity dedicated to advancing the evolution of humanity and the healing of Mother Earth. Rooted in Indigenous spiritual wisdom and guided by ceremony, ISS brings people across worldviews together in the service of healing, unity, and peacemaking. Through spiritual training, ceremonial gatherings, and intergenerational knowledge transmission, the Institute is building the conditions for a new mind for a new earth, one grounded in relationship, responsibility, and reverence for all life.
Headquartered at Six Nations of the Grand River, ISS works with communities across Canada and engages a growing network of spiritual leadership internationally. ISS emerged in 2025, building on the legacy and stewarded funds of the Carold Institute, which has supported social change initiatives across Canada for over three decades.
